Aniya, “This is a clear moral victory for the Filipino people who have suffered long enough in the hands of the CPP NPA NDF that the NUPL enables by pretending to be defenders of the downtrodden but are, in fact, their worst tormentors.”
“Where their best legal defense has been reserved for violent extremists – the New People’s Army- who have brought so much suffering on our people- more so the poorest of the poor, our children and our indigenous brothers and sisters.”
We also applaud the courage of our two Aetas brothers, Japer Gurung and Junior Ramos, who have refused legal representation by the NUPL after they were harassed and forcibly asked by the NUPL to issue false testimonies against government.
“Truly, the sheer magnitude of the cynical disrespect for the Filipino people, the laws of the land and our courts of law by the NUPL are breathtaking. They spit on us and all that we hold sacred and it is nothing to this CPP NPA NDF front.”
“But today, the highest court of the land has spoken clearly and unequivocally by applying the brakes on the exploitation of our indigenous peoples and the cynical weaponizing of human rights by this CPP NPA NDF front, the NUPL.”
” Finally, this day of justice and retribution for our country and our people has arrived. Mabuhay ang Inang Bayan.”
