Mga pinakakasuhang opisyal ng Philhealth, ipinalalagay sa immigration watchlist

Para hindi makatakas ng bansa, ipinalalagay ni Bagong Henerasyon Party-list Rep. Bernadette Herrera-Dy ang mga pinakakasuhang opisyal ng Philhealth sa immigration watchlist.

Ayon kay Herrera-Dy, sa oras na maisampa na ang mga kasong kriminal at administratibo ay dapat ilagay agad sa watchlist, patawan ng hold departure order at interpol red notice ang mga sangkot.

Nanawagan din ito sa Department of Justice (DOJ) at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na ipataw agad ang mga kinakailangan legal authorization para ma-check ang files at computers ng Philhealth para matiyak ang matibay na ebidensya sa kasong isasampa sa mga ito.

Giit din nito na dapat mapanagot ang lahat ng sangkot sa korapsyon sa Philhealth lalo pa’t nabuko ang mga iregularidad sa state insurer ngayong panahon ng pandemya.

“The corrupt schemers at PhilHealth could not have predicted the pandemic, but when it did hit our country, they gradually realized that the stench of their evil schemes would eventually come out,” ani Herera.

Hospital arrest naman ang nais ni ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Jocelyn Tulfo para kay PhilHealth President & CEO Ricardo Morales na naunang isinalang sa medical leave dahil sa ongoing medication.

Nais naman ni Tulfo na mapaimbesitigahan din si Health Secretary Franciso Duque III kaugnay sa mga isyu ng iregularidad sa Philhealth.

Dapat din aniya itong matanggal sa puwesto.

Ani Tulfo, “We are not fooled by Secretary Duque’s demeanor and outward personality. He has been in and out and in again of PhilHealth over the years.”

Suportado naman ni Anakalusugan Party-list Rep. Mike Defensor, chairman ng House Committee on Public Accounts na marami pang kaso ng korupsiyon ang dapat matingnan sa Philhealth.

Ang committee report na kanilang ilalabas kaugay sa mga naganap na imbestigasyon sa Philhealth ay susuporta sa mas malalim na imbestigasyon sa mga anomalya sa state insurance company.

“May initial findings na rin DOJ and its good that they filed. Marami pang cases ng kailangan ng further study so our report will support and further push for a deeper inquiry on the anomalies which is indicated in our report,” saad ni Rep. Mike Defensor, Anakalusugan Party-list.

Batay sa rekomendasyon ng Task force Philhealth, pinakakasuhan sina dating Philhealth and CEO Ricardo Morales, Senior Vice President Jovita Aragona, officer-in-charge Calixto Gabuya Jr., SVP Renato Limsiaco, SVP Israel Francis Pargas, COO Arnel de Jesus at division chief Bobby Crisostomo.
